Within the framework of the Afghan–Uzbek Business Forum, the Tashkent City Administration delegation, led by Deputy Mayor Sharof Rahmanov, held a meeting in Kabul with the Deputy Head of the Kabul Municipality, Mohammad Asif Jalalzai.

🧑‍💻During the meeting, views were exchanged on city management, urbanization processes, infrastructure development, and prospects for investment cooperation between the two capitals.

📈The Kabul side informed that 234 investment projects have been formed in the city, of which 168 relate to the construction sector. Information was also provided on the ongoing works in the construction of roads and canals, bus stops, landscaping, waste management, regulation of urban planning, and the introduction of digital management systems.

➡️Representatives of Kabul expressed interest in studying Tashkent’s experience and indicated a desire to organize seminars and master classes with the participation of specialists, as well as to cooperate with companies operating in the fields of infrastructure and utility services.

Representatives of the Tashkent City Administration emphasized that companies of our capital are active in all the mentioned areas and expressed readiness to review the projects submitted by the Kabul side.

⚡️It was also proposed to establish cooperation in projects implemented on the basis of public-private partnership, in the development of transport and utility infrastructure, and in the field of renovation.

The Kabul delegation was invited to Tashkent to get acquainted more closely with the works in these areas.
